Prevent soil pollution

Tips to prevent soil pollution:- 
  1. Reduce trash waste. Buy and use recyclable bins instead of plastic food bags or papers lunch bags. Use cloth diapers instead of non reusable diapers. Buy Eco-friendly products to avoid contributing material to dumps

2. Use reuse bins to separate material that can be reprocessed. Recycle metal containers, glass, magazines, battery power and card board.
3.Buy reprocessed products. Buy printing papers and sponges with a high reprocessed material. Shop at classic stores for reprocessed clothing.
4. Use natural products to reduce bug sprays. Buy natural fruits and vegetables. Use natural methods instead of chemicals to eliminate pests in landscapes or around the house.
Other ways to stop pollution:-
Land Pollution is caused by solid wastes like city wastes, crop residues, and industrial wastes like fly ash, chemicals like fertilizers and pesticides and polythene bags.
i. Proper solid waste disposal like sanitary landfill.
ii. Using limited amounts of fertilizers and pesticides.
iii. Avoiding polythene bags.
It is high time we realized that we need the environment for our own survival and for the survival of other life forms. Hence, we must learn to respect nature and try not to disrupt its ecological balance.
In order to do so it is necessary to first have a good understanding of all the three elements of the physical environment. In the next few chapters, we shall study about land, air and water.
